Do you remember The Big Tidy-Up? Golden Books reissued this book that was originally published in 1970. I was delighted to spot it at the library as the fond memories came flooding back especially the page with the slice of pie under her pillow. Cate has enjoyed the book so much that she has started to clean her room without being asked. Miraculous, don't you think? This morning I went into her room to find her cleaning it. She said "look, I'm just like Jennifer." It was amazing. So if your 4 or 5 year old needs a bit of encouragement to clean their room (don't they all?), check this book from the library.
